In this work, Marcin Glod combines iconic pop culture with themes of luxury, travel and social aspiration. At the centre stands a stylised pink panther wearing sunglasses and holding a cocktail – a confident figure situated between glamour, leisure and the mythology of the American Dream.

The background, entirely composed of US dollar bills, transforms money itself into a visual and cultural symbol. An airplane, Cadillac, palm trees and crocodile further expand the scene into a world of travel, luxury and success. At the same time, the exaggerated combination creates an ironic distance, presenting this lifestyle as an amplified pop-cultural fantasy.

Glod combines the clear, illustrative language of Pop Art with expressive painterly gestures, splashes and graphic overlays. Commercial symbols and familiar cultural imagery are transformed into a contemporary visual collage exploring consumption, status, freedom and the desire for an elevated lifestyle.
