Created in Tulum, Mexico, this work draws directly from the region’s tropical landscape and its distinctive natural environment. Palm trees, cacti, birds and an animal figure emerge from a layered, atmospheric composition that captures the colours, textures and organic forms of the Yucatán landscape.

Rather than depicting nature realistically, Glod translates his surroundings into an expressive visual language. Soft earthy tones are contrasted with turquoise, yellow, violet and pink, while spontaneous lines, gestures and painterly marks suggest movement and the dense energy of the tropical environment.

The work reflects Glod’s approach to painting as a visual record of place and experience. Natural motifs become fragments of memory, transformed through Pop Art, Street Art and abstract expression into a colourful interpretation of Tulum’s unique atmosphere.
